Biography

Born in the UK, but raised in the States, I moved back to England after graduating from university and promptly landed a job as News Editor on Empire magazine. After being promoted to features writer, I was subsequently hired as Editor of the UK edition of Premiere magazine in 1994, where I stayed for four years, and then in 1999, joined Total Film magazine, where I was Editor for five years. Over this time, I have also generated and produced features, news and reviews for a wide variety of publications, with contributions appearing in among others the Sunday Times Culture, the Sunday Express Magazine, the Independent, the Daily Express, Attitude, InStyle, the Saturday Times Magazine, Premiere US, Sky Movies Magazine and Details. I have also have made frequent television appearances on everything from Sky News and BBC News 24 to The Richard And Judy Show, and have been a regular contributor to Channel 4's 100 Greatest series. In addition to film and entertainment, I have also written about TV, comedy, theatre, travel, pop culture, male grooming and health & fitness.
